My brother has a career which demands a lot of traveling and he purchased one of these to keep movies on. He went and loaded his product with over 100 movies so he always has entertainment when he travels. He does however, get rid of and add new movies constantly.
This is simply not used just for movies though, as you can also store large sums of music also. One of the guy's I know operates a DJ service and he uses a couple of these devices for his shows. I was actually surprised myself to find out that just one of these iPods can hold around 40,000 songs. If each song is about 3 minutes long, that works out to be 2,000 hours of songs. That equals 12 hours each day for 166 days you could listen to your music before you have got to listen to the same song again. And that is quite a bit of space for storage.
Photos are one more thing a person can use this iPod for. Some individuals love their photos and you can keep up to 25,000 pictures on this iPod. And with the utilization of a composite AV cable you can even use the unit to show a slide show of the images on your TV. Something else that's actually neat is that you can create transitions between photographs and add music to your slide show through the use of iTunes.
